The final construction completed on August 11,2006

In time for the horseshoe tournament during the next member campout.

A fence was put in place to keep campers from getting injured

on the north end of the horseshoe pit.

We hope to put in some native michigan shrubs or flowers

in the area around the fencing to dress it up a bit. Staining of the

fence will be next year after it weathers over the winter.

Finishing touches.

It will be lovely after some reseeding is done and the benches are

placed. Possible wild flowers  also.

We would like to Thank Mr Ted Kessler Ionia's Park Manager for all his help with the project

and the staff for their help.  It was a pleasure working with you.
